100 Days of Code — Day 4
Today, I wrote the notes for day 2, and day 3 in addition to this note. So it involved recalling a lot of things.
Today I worked through a script for a tool call. In this script, we defined the what a request can look like ( ie, a dictionary of tool name and what arguments the tool takes). then we defined the tool registry, where we linked the tool name to the actual function call that the tool runs.
And then we wrote the actual logic for executing the right tool call based on a given response. We wrote validations for the given response ( ie, give an error if the response has somehthing that the tool is not defined to do), and if all validations are good, execute the tool call and return result.
then we wrote a few test scenarios to check if the tool_execution works properly.
I revised few python concepts like lists, tuples, set, isinstance(), tuple unpacking and assertions.
